Takayla Tallie, a senior chemistry major, clutches a bouquet of maroon roses, a gift from her family for her diligent research efforts after her poster presentation at the Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium. More than 100 students showcased their faculty-guided research and creative activity in the Colvard Student Union Ballroom during the event sponsored by the Shackouls Honors College.
