Sheldon Barnes from McComb and Emily Cater from Tupelo, both senior biological sciences majors, examine a collection of bird specimens in Associate Professor of Biological Sciences Diana Outlaw's class on avian diversity and evolution. The students are learning about the distinguishing features of songbirds found in North America.
