STANDING IN THE MOONLIGHT
While cloud cover forced Mississippi State's Howell Observatory to cancel its public viewing of Sunday night's lunar eclipse, dozens gathered near the H.H. Leveck Animal Research Center (South Farm) as the clouds parted about 9 p.m. to get a glimpse of the "Super Blood Moon." Steven M. Cannon, a freshman philosophy major from Southaven, and Nicole C. Lee, a sophomore biological engineering major from Olive Branch, were among those enjoying the view.
