Memphis-based Collage Dance Collective continues MSUās Lyceum Series next month

STARKVILLE, Miss.āMississippi Stateās Lyceum Seriesā 77th season continues with a highly entertaining performance from the Midsouth performing arts company Collage Dance Collective.
Performing Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. in Lee Hallās Bettersworth Auditorium, the groupās show is free for Ļć½¶Ö±²„students, and the general public can purchase tickets at . Individual tickets are $30 per person and $25 for Ļć½¶Ö±²„employees and senior citizens. Season and miniseries passes also are available.
Based in Memphis, Tennessee, Collage Dance Collective has been named a Southern Cultural Treasure by South Arts and the Ford Foundation and listed among the 50 largest ballet companies in the nation. The collective includes three core programs: a conservatory teaching classical ballet, jazz, tap, modern and West African dance to students; a collection of adult classes and programming; and the international touring company comprised of 18 professional dancers from across the world.
The āBuff City Bluesā production is an ode to the musical heritage of Memphis, and is comprised of high-energy classical ballet with blues music from artists such as Muddy Waters, B.B. King and Koko Taylor.
