STARKVILLE, Miss.ā€”Mississippi State spring graduates will celebrate completion of their university degrees with commencement ceremonies May 8-10 in Starkville and Meridian. Ā

During the MSU-Meridian commencement on May 9, Ļć½¶Ö±²„President Mark E. Keenum will award local resident and entrepreneur .

Keenum will serve as the commencement featured speaker on both campuses May 9 and 10 and will award bachelorā€™s, masterā€™s, educational specialist and doctoral degrees. All ceremonies can be watched remotely via the Ļć½¶Ö±²„TV Centerā€™s livestream at , on the MSTV app and on the universityā€™s main Facebook page.

Starkville graduates can invite up to eight guests, and Meridian graduates can have up to four. Tickets are required for entry, and these will be emailed to graduates with instructions for downloading. Also, guests should plan for security screenings upon entry.

Guest seating is general admission, and graduates will be seated once checked in. Humphrey Coliseum guests may leave when their graduate exits the stage by exiting through the main coliseum entrances on the east and west sides of Mize Pavilion.

The DVM ceremony does not require tickets, while the Doctoral Graduation and Hooding Ceremony is by invitation only.

MSUā€™s spring 2024 graduation schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, May 8:

11:30 a.m.: Starkville Campus, Humphrey Coliseum: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

4 p.m.: Doctoral Graduation and Hooding Ceremony, Bettersworth Auditorium, Lee Hall, Starkville. (Invitation only.)

Thursday, May 9:

11 a.m.: Meridian Campus, Ļć½¶Ö±²„Riley Center.

3:30 p.m.Ā (doors open at 2 p.m.): Starkville Campus, Humphrey Coliseum: ACCESS Program, College of Business and College of Education.

Friday, May 10:

9:30 a.m.Ā (doors open at 8 a.m.): Starkville Campus, Humphrey Coliseum: College of Arts and Sciences, College of Professional and Continuing Studies, and College of Architecture, Art and Design.

3:30 p.m.Ā (doors open at 2 p.m.): Starkville Campus, Humphrey Coliseum: Academic Affairs, Bagley College of Engineering, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, College of Forest Resources, and College of Veterinary Medicine.
