Ļć½¶Ö±²„team places third nationally in CSBS Community Bank Case Study Competition

STARKVILLE, Miss.āFor the third consecutive year, Mississippi State students have placed in the top five during an intense, nationwide competition that teaches undergraduate students about the banking industry.
This yearās team of four Ļć½¶Ö±²„business administration students placing third overall in the 2022 Conference of State Bank Supervisors Community Bank Case Study Competition include:
DAWSONVILLE, GeorgiaāPeyton Randazzo, a spring finance graduate.
LOUISVILLEāEric Sudduth, a spring finance and foreign language/German graduate.
MEMPHIS, TennesseeāVon Churchwell, a spring summa cum laude finance graduate.
THE COLONY, TexasāAnnabelle Peck, a spring magna cum laude finance graduate.
The annual CSBS competition provides valuable first-hand insight as teams partner with local community banks to examine how these banks have navigated changes over the past decade, as well as what these institutions can expect in the next decade.
Assistant Clinical Professor of Finance and Economics Matthew Whitledge advised MSUās team, which partnered with the Bank of Commerce-Greenwood. The teamās paper will be published in the Journal of Community Bank Case Studies and is available at .Ģż
