CDE fall panel series focuses on online teaching and learning

In March of 2020, the entire world got a taste of what it means to be "online." However, long before that time, the world of online learning and teaching has been a thriving campus at Ï㽶ֱ²¥. An upcoming Center for Distance Education panel series will feature various experts about what it truly means to teach and learn online, traditionally, and not just as an emergency measure.ÌýÌýÌý

Panels will be held in Memorial Hall, Coskrey Auditorium and available via WebEx. Each session will be 2-3 p.m. CST.ÌýÌýÌýÌý

In the student session, we will explore how online students view themselves, their course work, and their thoughts on how they fit into the larger institution.ÌýÌý

Faculty Panel--October 13Ìý ÌýÌý

In the faculty session, we will explore their thoughts on what it means to be an online instructor, what they've learned by teaching online, and where online education is going.ÌýÌý

Administration Panel--November 9Ìý ÌýÌý

In the final session, we will ask upper administration at Ï㽶ֱ²¥their thoughts on the role of online education within the institution, future goals for online education, and how to make the online experience better for all.Ìý Ìý Ìý
