Orientation Leaders named for 2018-19 academic year at MSU

STARKVILLE, Miss.—Twenty-one upperclassmen from Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia and Tennessee are leaders of �㽶ֱ��’s 2018-19 orientation programs.

Working with the Office of Orientation and Events, �㽶ֱ��Orientation Leaders provide assistance and share their knowledge of the 140-year-old land-grant institution with incoming freshmen and transfer students—and their parents—during each of the school year’s many registration and information sessions.

Selected from 50 applicants, this year’s Orientation Leaders participated in a rigorous screening process and also are required to take a concentrated course that prepares them to welcome the newest members of the Bulldog family to campus.

BRANDON—Onsby D. Vinson, a sophomore kinesiology/clinical exercise physiology major.

BYHALIA—Kristin T. Moore, a junior biological sciences major.

CANTON—Kathryn E. “Kate” Carter, a junior kinesiology/clinical exercise physiology major.

CARTERSVILLE, Georgia—Alyssa H. “Allie” Zaring, a sophomore criminology major.

DICKSON, Tennessee—Jackson L. Robbins, a sophomore geosciences/professional geology major.

DUCK HILL—Micah Brooke Woods, a junior kinesiology/clinical exercise physiology major.

GERMANTOWN, Tennessee—Kenedee Cummings, a sophomore communication/public relations major.

GREENVILLE—Juan P. Benavides, a junior marketing/international business and foreign language/French double-major.

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas—Erin D. Snelling, a junior criminology major.

LOUISVILLE—Kenley M. McMullan, a junior secondary education/English education major.

MADISON—Denver C. Haralson, a sophomore kinesiology/clinical exercise physiology major; Avery E. Ray, a sophomore secondary education/mathematics education major; and Amber N. Young, a sophomore elementary education/middle school major.
