STARKVILLE, Miss.ā The Ļć½¶Ö±²„ Student Association is announcing that the location of this fallās Bulldog Bash has been moved to the Ļć½¶Ö±²„Amphitheater.
Due to the annual eventās growth, new property development at its previous location, and other surrounding businesses that will not permit area use, the decision was made to change venues.
āWith construction ongoing throughout the Cotton District and no other similar space available within the City of Starkville, we reached out to alternate sites for location change,ā said Jacob A. Dye, SA director of marketing. āThe Student Association chose the Ļć½¶Ö±²„Amphitheater in part due to our history of holding various outdoor events there.ā
Created in 1999 to help kick off SEC football play for the Ļć½¶Ö±²„Bulldogs, Bulldog Bash has strived to be the most successful student-led concert event in the Southeast. It is designed to bring the university student body, alumni and local community together for a night of fun.
In its initial year, Bulldog Bash drew a crowd of around 2,000 and has grown tremendously throughout its history. The event now hosts crowds exceeding 30,000 Ļć½¶Ö±²„students, alumni and fans.
